The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an experienced IT Technician working within the Systems support team to maintain its range of PC and server platforms. Latest Jobs Vacant for IT Technician
Working primarily with Microsoft operating systems and applications, the post holder will install and configure operating systems, applications and hardware platforms to ensure that desktop and server services are continuously available to students and staff.
The successful applicant will have a strong track record in hardware support and operating system deployment and configuration. Experience of automating operating system deployment would be highly beneficial.
A positive team player, the post holder will work with a diverse range of student and staff groups to ensure the Department provides quality services.
Salary range £25,001 - £29,853 pa
