Building Services Engineer - Sustainability

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 pa, depending on experience
Fixed term, 2 year KTP appointment plus sponsored Masters

This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop and implement a commercially viable assessment and advisory tool to evaluate and consequently reduce the carbon footprint of existing offices.

You should have a BEng (Hons) (2.1 minimum) in Building Services, Energy or Mechanical Engineering and preferably be a member of CIBSE. Experience of building services design, implementation and project management, HVAC systems in offices, SBEM modelling, and renewable energy systems will be an advantage. You should demonstrate a high level of interest and understanding for sustainability and energy reduction, including building energy certification. You need to be self-motivated, innovative, enthusiastic, and able to work independently, as well as in a team. Good project management and organisational skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work with and influence staff and clients are needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing are essential.

This is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) appointment in which the candidate will work full-time at the company, but will be employed by London South Bank University.
